Ex-Mirage 05:12
Stardirge 05:45

A chronological collection of chiptune and chipstyle tracks I wrote on a recurring basis for a now-defunct compilation series from 2013 to 2019. Though I would have been well within my rights to do so, and though I'd meant to do it for quite a while, I never re-published any of these tracks as part of my own personal projects until now. In retrospect, it's clear that I should have done so sooner.

Though some of the songs are thematically-and-melodically-linked, this isn't a concept album. The chronological tracklist doesn't necessarily flow congruently or satisfyingly. Rather, it's a long-exposure of my progression over the last decade. Some of my most notable songs appear within, and I imagine that for many, those songs are what come to mind when they think "Petriform." For these reasons, I decided to self-title the album.

All tracks have been remixed and remastered from surviving project files. In some cases, minor arrangement and/or track title changes were made. "Spinout Sunray" in particular was recreated from scratch because all of the associated project files were lost in a hard drive failure.

Whether you're already familiar with these songs or you're hearing them for the first time, I hope you enjoy them.
